NEW BLOG – The most common mistakes and errors for AHPRA applications (the final step for OT/PT Australia registration applications).
A few common mistakes/errors to check:
- AHPRA has received your application – you can check this by calling them and/or also checking if payment has been taken from your account
- You applied online AND submitted the supporting documents Link to the application form: PT’s https://www.physiotherapyboard.gov.au/Registration/Forms.aspx OT’s https://www.occupationaltherapyboard.gov.au/registration/forms.aspx Supporting documents: since COVID you can also submit your supporting documents online (rather than posting them) using this link: https://www.ahpra.gov.au/Registration/Online-upload.aspx
- HCPC/CORU have sent the Certificate of Good standing directly to AHPRA – AHPRA will not accept this if you send it with your application
- The documents were certified exactly to AHPRA requirements by a person listed to do this outside of Australia, please read the guidance notes very carefully: https://www.ahpra.gov.au/Registration/Registration-Process/Certifying-Documents.aspx
- The CV must be on the AHPRA template and you must hand write and hand sign the statement from the bottom of this link: www.ahpra.gov.au/cv
- AHPRA is currently being very slow so make sure you allow for plenty of extra time for your application to be approved!
